Ring and Run 2009
Ring and Run is a holiday tradition in which the Lakeside and Spring Valley REC Club leadership groups come together to provide support for families that need help during the holiday season. The staff and teens spend months raising money and finding donations to support these families.
In December, the items are collected and the leadership groups wrap all of the gifts and prepare them for the "Ring and Run"! Gifts and items of need are then delivered anonymously to each family household in a unique style. The leadership groups place items on the front porch or doorstep of the families home, ring the door bell and RUN!!!
This project teaches the teen leaders civic responsibility as well as the life skills needed to give
back to the community. It is a once in a lifetime experience and has been
